Human Resources Director

JOB TITLE: Director of Human Resources
EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Vice President of Human Resources

POSITION PURPOSE: This individual will be responsible for managing all HR Department
activities and providing support to all company personnel.

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Administer the company’s medical benefit programs.
  2. Administer the company’s HRIS systems.
  3. Oversee all HR activities and delegate tasks and responsibilities to HR Department
  4. Responsible for all FMCSA regulations as they pertain to HR.
  5. Responsible for all HR Departmental invoicing and payments.
  6. Coordinate Unemployment claims.
  7. Coordinate the onboarding of newly hired personnel.
  8. Responsible for all electronic personnel records.
  9. Process FLMA and personal leave requests.
  10. Other duties as determined by the Vice President of Human Resources. Duties may be
    changed at the desire of management.
    QUALIFICATIONS: College degree in Human Resources or related field and minimum 3 years
    of experience in human resources. Or minimum 6 years of experience in the human resources
    field with minimum 1 year experience in a managerial position.
    JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
  11. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  12. Ability to delegate responsibilities and tasks.
  13. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations and policies.
  14. In-depth knowledge of HRIS systems
  15. Ability to write professional documents.
  16. Highly knowledgeable of all the laws and regulations that surround the human resources
    field.
  17. Ability to handle time sensitive tasks and work under pressure.
